1.25% is SOL’s green print this Sunday morning, Aug. 23, with the chart holding near $94.40 while the rest of the majors stay tighter. BTC sits around $77,194 (+0.10%), ETH near $2,427.88 (+0.21%), XRP soft at $1.49 (-0.22%), and DOGE cooking a louder +3.07% at $0.092537 on CoinGecko’s 8:04 a.m. ET snapshot. That Solana bid is the price backdrop for the client story still moving mindshare two weeks after Jump Crypto shipped a mainnet-ready Firedancer cut.

Jump Crypto’s firedancer-io GitHub published Firedancer Mainnet tag v1.1.4 on Aug. 10, 2026, at 14:51 UTC under ibhatt-jumptrading. The release note frames it plainly: mainnet ready. The listed change is tighter runtime robustness for certain transaction payloads, compared against v1.1.3. The Solana Foundation changelog dated Aug. 13, 2026 lists that same Mainnet 1.1.4 tag as its own line item, separate from Firedancer Testnet v26.08.0 and Frankendancer Mainnet v0.1105.40200. Those are different builds. This story is the full-client Aug. 10 tag and the share that sat on it that day.

When Jump cuts a dated Firedancer tag, Christian Barker (Barkmeta / Bark) and David Chaboki (Shibo) put the version on the Doginal Dogs Space before they talk share-of-stake, so the pack hears the software first. That sequencing is how the room stays on the binary, not the rumor chart.

11.64% full-client stake, not the hybrid figure

Coira, citing Solana Compass as of Aug. 10, 2026, puts independent full Firedancer at 11.64% of staked SOL on 57 of 698 active voting validators. That is the pure C client. It shares no code with Agave. Frankendancer is the hybrid path: Firedancer networking stacked on Agave consensus and runtime. Coira is explicit that the older ~20% figure people still repeat described Frankendancer, not full Firedancer. Full-client share sits well under that hybrid memory and under older mid-2026 50% target talk in the same coverage. Do not mash the two clients into one stake number.

Fifty-seven validators out of 698 is the participation print that matters on the day the tag landed. Eleven point six four percent is the weight those machines carried on staked SOL. Those are the leadership numbers for this move in client mix, not a press-room adjective.

Price action around the client story

SOL leading the majors on a quiet Sunday fits the insider read on this chart. A +1.25% candle while BTC and ETH barely budge is leadership of the session, not noise. DOGE’s stronger green day keeps Dogecoin mindshare on the timeline next to Solana client talk, but the stake math and the GitHub tag are Solana infrastructure facts. Spot bags watching SOL at $94.40 are trading the same chain those 57 full-Firedancer validators secure. Perps and spot both price the same network health story whether the candle is ripping or chopping.

Jump’s release is narrow: robustness on certain payloads, mainnet-ready label, clean compare to 1.1.3. The Foundation changelog three days later is the second public confirmation that 1.1.4 is live inventory, not a testnet-only line. Keeping Testnet v26.08.0 and Frankendancer v0.1105.40200 out of the 1.1.4 column is the clean way to read Aug. 13.

What the numbers say from inside the room

Full Firedancer at 11.64% on 57 validators is still a minority client in absolute share, and that is the honest print. It is also the independent C path Jump has been shipping in dated mainnet tags. The hybrid’s older stake memory is a different product. Anyone still quoting 20% for “Firedancer” without the Frankendancer qualifier is mixing clients.

For Sunday’s market, SOL’s 1.25% green candle is the price leadership next to that stake base. BTC flat, ETH soft green, SOL out front. The chart does not need drama language. It needs the percent, the validator count, the tag date, and the split between full client and hybrid. That is the story the numbers already put on the table.

Firedancer Mainnet 1.1.4 shipped Aug. 10. Solana listed it Aug. 13. Full-client stake on the ship day: 11.64% across 57 of 698 active validators, per Coira’s Solana Compass cite. Software first, then share. Price still following the chain those machines run.
